PRE- APPOINTMENT ADVICE

*Microblading procedure normally requires multiple treatment sessions. For best results, client is required to to return forat least one perfecting treatment service session which is included in the initial service cost. This treatment service is scheduled immediately after The first treatment, and should take place 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure.

2 weeks prior Stop using any skin thinners (Vitamin A Vitamin E, B6, Omega 3, Gingko Biloba, & St. John's Wort) stop any glycolic acids & exfoliation on your brow area.

Cosmetic botox/fillers should be done 2 weeks in advance.

If you tint your eyebrows, tint at least 1 week prior.

Brow shapping (threading, waxing, tweezing) must be done 3 days before microblading to avoid pigment setteling in open pores.

DO NOT consume alcohol, or take any blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, Niacin

48 hours before your procedure unless instructed by your phyiscian, this will promote excess bleeding and may affect your results).

On the day of your appointment avoid caffeine and exercise. Wash your hair in the morning as you will need to avoid the shower for several days. Baths are recommended.

Bring examples of brow shapes you like to the appointment.

You may experience more pain and hypersensitivity around or during your menstrual cycle.

We will NOT be able to tattoo over any blemishes, sores, and moles in or around the brow area.

POST-APPOINTMENT AFTERCARE (14 days)

Propper aftercare is extremly important and must be followed for for the first 2 weeks after your appointment; to ensure proper healing and color retention. Results vary for all individuals and we cannot gaurentee your results.

Let your brow tattoo dry heal for the first 24 hours

After the 24 hour dry heal period apply a fragrance free moisturizer 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks.Avoid rubbing the tattood area and use a gentle patting motion to apply moisturizer. (Cetafil, Lubriderm or natural oils like grapeseed oil are recommended). It is best to use a moisturizer with a pump and avoid any jarred products that can be exposed to bacateria.  Avoid daily skincare products, especially those containing acid (glycolic acid, salicylic acid, etc.) as well as anti- aging products, skin lightening products (such as Tretinoin), or those that speed up the skin renewal process directly on the eyebrows.

Make sure your hands are cleaned prior to applying moisturizer

Do not apply makeup directly on the brows during healing process.

Do not use Peroxide or Neosporin on treated areas.

Do not get the eyebrows wet for 7-10 days during the healing process. Avoid any activities that will cause sweating as it will cause pigment loss. Consult with your practitioner before wetting brows.

If your eyebrows get wet during this time, pat them dry with a towel (DO NOT RUB) and contact your practitioner.

Do not rub, pick or scratch your brows following the procedure and during the healing process.

If your eyebrows scab, become slightly dry, or itchy, DO NOT SCRATCH them. Gently tap them to release the itch.

Notify your instructor if a perfecting visit is needed 6 weeks after your initial procedure.

Avoid excess exposure to the sun or tanning beds as this can make them fade and can

affect the healing process

6+ weeks: After area is fully healed, keep area protected with an SPF of 15 or greater

Once healed you can enjoy your eyebrows to the fullest !

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your micro-bladed Brows generally last between 12-24 months, but certain factors such as aftercare, skin regeneration and body chemistry may prolong or shorten the expected durability.

DO NOT expect your brow tattoos to heal perfectly after the first session. This is a 2 step sometimes multiple step process to achieve desired results.

During your 2 week healing process, your brows will change and appear different from day to day, THIS IS NORMAL.

Immediately after your procedure brows will appear darker and more defined and this will last over a week . Your brow tattoo can appear more solid, hair strokes may seem to disappear and it may look wet and painted on. THIS IS NORMAL.

Around days 4-7 you will experience scabbing and your brows may look dry and flakey. DO NOT PICK your scabs or rub them, let them fall off naturally. If scabbing comes off prematurely or is picked , missing hair stokes will result and cause patchy brows.

YOUR BROW TATTOO WILL TAKE UP TO 4-7 WEEKS TO FULLY HEAL. WHEN THE SCABBING FALLS OFF THE HAIR STROKES MAY SEEM FAINT OR AS IF THEY HAVE DISAPEERED, THIS IS BECAUSE A FRESH LAYER OF SKIN HAS HEALED OVER THE BROW TATTOO.

***GIVE YOUR BROWS A FEW WEEKS AND THE HAIR  STROKES WILL BECOME CLEARER AND START TO RE APPEAR.

You may experience itchiness in the brows after 10 days and up to 2 months because of the healing of the dermal layer.

Not everyones brows can heal clean and crisp. Hairstrokes for oilier skin types tend to heal more solid and powdery while drier skin types tend to heal more crisp and defined.

***Everyone has different skin chemistry and like all tattoos their are some rare cases where skin can reject or not retain pigment. Results vary for all individuals and we cannot gaurentee your results.
